Page 213. Will of FRANCIS BROWN [II] of Southfarnum Parish in the County of Essex being sick and weak of body, dated 2 May 1708 .
Unto my loving wife ELIZABETH all my land and plantation whereon I now live excepting one parcell of wood land called the Middle Branch which I appoint to be sold by my executors and the production thereof shall goe to pay all my debts.
The remainder my loving wife ELIZABETH BROWN do hold dureing her naturall life and after her death if my son DANIEL BROWN is alive, he enjoy the land and plantation dureing his naturall life and after his death the land to descend to ANN BROWN the daughter of DANIEL BROWN, and for want of issue to descend to her sister ELIZABETH BROWN and for want of issue to the children of my son DANIEL BROWN and ELIZABETH his wife.
